This Week’s Update

Thank You for a Great 2026 Golf League Season! ⛳

And just like that, another Monday Night Golf League season is in the books!

I want to take a minute to thank everyone who participated this year. Between the good rounds, bad rounds, rainouts, weather horns, substitutes, long putts, questionable decisions and plenty of laughs, it was another great year of Monday night golf.

A league like this only works because everyone continues to show up, have a good time and help each other out when needed. Whether you played every week, filled in as an alternate, helped with the book, grabbed a missing partner or just hung around afterward at Pop’s, thank you for making the 2026 season another successful one.

And congratulations once again to our 2026 Co-Champions, Scott Connour/Darrel Schultz and Darcy Boyles/Lucas Cycotte, who somehow managed to finish the season deadlocked at 111 points. It was a fitting ending to a season that stayed interesting right down to the final night.

Monday Night Golf Isn’t Over!

The official league season may be finished, but that doesn’t mean we’re putting the clubs away.

We’ll continue playing on Monday nights for anyone who wants to come out.

We’ll have an optional $5 throw-in per man, and after the round we’ll draw partners out of a hat to determine the teams. Nothing too serious, just another reason to keep getting together and playing some golf.

Labor Day – We’re Playing!

This coming Monday is Labor Day, but several of the guys are already planning to play.

Pop’s Place will be closed, so after the round we’re planning to head over to Friendly’s on 48 to draw partners, figure out the winners and enjoy a little post-round celebration.

Group Chat Coming to the Website 💬

I’m also working on adding a league group chat feature directly to the website.

The idea is to give everyone an easy place to communicate about Monday night golf, substitutes, who’s playing, league announcements or whatever else comes up without having to track down everyone’s phone number.

Keep an eye on the website because that feature should be coming soon.

You will need to register with an email address before accessing the chat. That’s simply so I can keep the riff raff out and keep it limited to our group.

And don’t worry, I’m not going to start spamming your inbox just because you registered. 😁
